My dad just yelled “I SWEAR I’LL CUT OFF WHAT’S LEFT OF YOUR DICK IF YOU FUCKING TOUCH MY COKE DON’T YOU DARE” and I came in the room like what the fuck and it was my dad holding up a shoe and my cat sitting by a glass of coca-cola with his paw almost touching inside of it and both of them didn’t even break eye contact with each other

New Nintendo 3DS and XL ⊟

Just when you thought this week couldn’t get any wilder, Nintendo goes and reveals a new 3DS and XL model for Japan. Europe will also receive the new portables next year, according to CVG. If we get a U.S. release date, I expect it to be for 2015.

The new line also has a new stick-ish button on the right side that replaces the need for a Circle Pad Pro, a more powerful CPU, improved 3D viewing angles, Super Famicom-esque colored ABXY buttons, two additional shoulder buttons, NFC support (for Amiibos!), improved battery life (up to 6 hours on 3DS, 7 hours on XL), and HTML5 support for the built-in browser. It also now uses Micro SDs instead of SD cards. Check out the removable back!

The standard system features a 3.88-inch top screen (compared to the 3.53-inch top screen in the original 3DS), while the new XL screen is the same as the old one at 4.88 inches. Both release in Japan on October 11, alongside new charging docks. The standard edition 3DS comes in White or Black for ¥16000 ($154), while the XL in Metallic Blue or Black will go for ¥18800 ($181).

BUY Nintendo 2DS & 3DS/XL, upcoming games

That’s good, that’s real good.  Longer battery life? A detatchable back for easy battery/micro SD card replacement? All-around 3d viewing? Sign me up.

Pass on these for me if/when they come Stateside. Better battery life and processing power are a good thing, but I fail to see why we need additional trigger buttons PLUS they moved the stylus to the front now (along with the power button). Frankly, with the power button now on the edge (and it appears to be a simple easy push button as opposed to a slider like the DS Lite had), it seems like it’d be much easier to accidentally switch it off or the like. Plus the stylus on the bottom now once again makes it more difficult to get the thing out as opposed to the DS Lite/3DS XL side (I know that’s not convenient for left-handed people, just speaking from personal experience here).

Still, much like how they unveiled the 2DS last year in conjunction with Pokémon X/Y, makes sense that they’re unveiling another new model with both Smash Bros. and Pokémon ORAS coming within that time span.

True story; this officer (John Pike) got a settlement of $38,000 because he said he got depressed after pepper spraying these kids. Oh, the depression wasn’t for feeling remorseful for pepper spraying a bunch of college kids peacefully protesting. He got depressed because he said since the media kept playing the video of him pepper spraying peaceful kids without cause, he got threats and didn’t feel safe. He didn’t feel safe. I’m not making that up. This motherfucker collected nearly 40 grand on worker’s comp after assaulting a bunch of college kids.
